Kandy
The glorious reign which ended up in 1815 with the takeover of rule by the British, this beautiful hill city has the remains and claims of Sinhalese culture blended with the foreign architecture and technology. Famed for the Temple of the Tooth of Lord Buddha and its annual Paegent named Asala Perahera, the botanical gardens in Peradeniya, Wooden carvings of Ambekka and a lot of historically and culturally important locations lie in Kandy.
 
Galle
Uniqueness at its extreme lies in this city with the remains of Dutch fortress and its buildings and roads marking up the sea end on land. The old remains of the fortified city has built up its own identity with the travelers who love history, heritage, beach or adventure – as it is gateway to more oceanic cities with leisure and adventure activities such as Kalpitiya, Unawatuna and Koggala.
 
Trincomalee
It is the name of the city where entire Europe beams on for leisure and especially the tropical sun bathe. After the tough times of war for the past years the city rises with luxurious villas and boutique hotels – and once again a gateway city to Nilaveli the most admired beach of the South East Coast. The world’s finest natural harbor has been attacked and invaded several times and mixture of ruins throughout could be witnessed with the beauty around.
 
Sigiriya
Perhaps this UNESCO’s World Wonder could be the single most dramatic sight carved out of a rock, in Sri Lanka. The spellbinding vistas, misty forestry, unbelievable water technology, shrines in caves and world famed frescoes of King’s women focuses on attracting the world more nearer to the Lion’s paws. The story is fascinating and the secrets are exciting where the steps you take above and the Museum a few metres away could teach you on Sigiriya.
 
Yala
Wildlife, especially the Asian elephants living in Sri Lanka is undoubtedly the most famous attraction of travelers – as we are well aware of some just travelling to watch their habitats to Yala every year. In Yala, apart from the giants the sloth bears, deer, crocodiles and endangered leopard species could be found as the tours will be arranged for families, lonely travelers or photographers to explore jungles, lakes, rivers, rocks and beaches of Yala.
